Teaching AP Studio Art Drawing has been an enormous pleasure.   Having had the wonderful opportunity to take the AP Studio Art workshop first in Manila in 2010 and again in Shanghai in 2013 was a fantastic opportunity to develop my practice and connect with fellow professionals.

 

    I believe the most important thing for success in AP Studio Art is availability.   In order for my students to complete their portfolios, I have taught an additional three hours a week for the last four years.  These extra studio times are also supplemented by additional studio times on long weekends and holidays.   In order to facilitate progression I also utilize technology to assist the students through chat, text, Face Time and FaceBook.
